A WEEKEND WITH OUR KIND OF PEOPLE
Vintage Dream Machines was part of Holley MoParty 2026 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. For a shop with Dodge Power Wagons at its heart, a gathering built around Mopar power is a natural place to share what we do.
We brought three Power Wagons with us: Synista, Tiffany, and our gray 1949 single cab. Three distinct takes on the same unmistakable Dodge shape, together for a weekend surrounded by people who appreciate what goes into a custom build.
Our own Facebook recap and Gause Garage’s VDM feature give this stop on the calendar two perspectives. Watch both below for a look at the appearance, then explore what makes MoParty such a distinctive gathering.

THE POWER WAGONS WE BROUGHT
From Synista’s four-door profile to Tiffany’s turquoise finish and the gray truck’s lifted stance, the lineup showed how different a Power Wagon can feel while keeping its original character. Explore each build for a closer look at the details.

BUILT TO SHOW. ROOM TO GO.
MoParty brings several sides of Mopar enthusiasm together. The 2026 program listed drag racing, autocross, the 3S Challenge, a car show, burnouts, a vendor midway, and a swap meet. It is a weekend for people who enjoy both the details of a build and the sound of one being put to work.
There was drifting in the mix, too, with plenty of tire smoke and action beyond the parked displays. Across the grounds, vintage Mopar cars shared the weekend with modern performance machines. That span of eras is part of the appeal: different generations, different approaches, and a shared enthusiasm for Mopar.
Control counts
Autocross tests handling, acceleration, and braking on a course of corners and cones. Horsepower is only part of the conversation.
Look a little closer
The car show and vendor midway make space for the other side of the hobby: seeing the work up close and exploring parts and ideas.
[ A little MoParty trivia ]
THERE’S A REASON IT’S CALLED A PARTY
What does the “3S” stand for?
Speed, Stop, and Steering. The challenge combines a turnaround, slalom, and stop box; times from both sides of the course are added together. A quick launch alone will not settle it.
Does it have to be a factory Mopar?
The event welcomes Mopar-powered vehicles, including engine-swapped builds. The official event site includes AMC in that invitation, too.
Is there really a mullet contest?
Yes. The 2026 FAQ lists a mullet contest alongside the racing and show activities. Apparently, the cars are not the only things allowed to wear a little vintage attitude.
How long has MoParty been running?
The organizer describes 2026 as the seventh annual Holley MoParty. Its home for this edition was Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
